India added another medal to its Asian Games 2026 campaign on Monday as the men's shooting team secured silver in the 10m air rifle team event, taking the country's overall medal tally to three.
The Indian trio of Himanshu Dhillon, Parth Mane and Rudrankksh Patil combined for a score of 1890.1 points to finish second in the team competition.

China claimed the gold medal after finishing with 1899.0 points, while Korea secured bronze with a combined score of 1884.2.
The result continued India's strong start in shooting at the Asian Games. The country had already collected two silver medals in women's 10m air rifle events before the men's team added another podium finish.
India's first two medals came through the women's shooting contingent, with Elavenil Valarivan winning silver in the individual 10m air rifle event. She was also part of the women's team alongside Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod that finished second in the team competition.
