PM Modi to Release 24th PM-KISAN Instalment
More than ₹18,690 crore is scheduled to be transferred to over 9.34 crore farmers, alongside new agriculture infrastructure initiatives.
During the programme, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to dedicate 521 projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) and inaugurate 12 horticulture clusters.
Since the scheme’s launch, the first 23 instalments of PM-KISAN have cumulatively delivered more than ₹4.47 lakh crore to farmer beneficiaries.
The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has supported investments of approximately ₹1.75 lakh crore across more than 2.28 lakh projects, according to the announcement.
The programme will also highlight other initiatives for farmers, including the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, minimum support prices and missions focused on edible oils, pulses and natural farming.
