Former Indian cricketer and national team coach Ravi Shastri has been appointed brand ambassador of real estate franchise Century 21 as the company prepares to expand its operations in India.
Shastri will represent the brand in India and engage with buyers, investors, developers and the wider real estate community as Century 21 builds its presence in the country.
Century 21 operates across 82 countries and territories, with around 400,000 real estate professionals globally. The company plans to connect Indian clients with its international property network while also providing overseas clients with access to India's real estate market.
The company has divided India into 126 regions as part of its planned franchise-led expansion. It aims to establish around 1,500 offices and a network of approximately 30,000 agents across the country within five years, with six to 10 regions expected to open during the first year.
Century 21 is also using technology as part of its India strategy. Its ConnectR platform is designed to connect agents and offices across markets, support property inventory access and facilitate sales transactions.
