Over 51,000 Appointment Letters Today
PM Modi will distribute appointment letters to newly recruited youth at the 20th Rozgar Mela being held across 45 locations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth at the 20th Rozgar Mela on September 19, 2026. The appointment letters will be distributed through video conferencing at 12:30 PM, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
The Rozgar Mela will be conducted at 45 locations across the country, with newly appointed candidates joining various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
The recruits will join organisations and departments including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Defence, among others.
Prime Minister Modi will also address the newly selected candidates during the programme. The event is part of the government's continuing Rozgar Mela programme for appointments in various government organisations.
With the 20th Rozgar Mela, the PMO said the total number of youth who will have received appointment letters through the programme will reach about 12.75 lakh.
